Shortened Wildflower Season Hurting Pollinators

Climate change in the Rocky Mountains is impacting the length of the wildflower season, according to new research published in Journal of Ecology. A midsummer reduction in blooming wildflowers has been linked to warmer and drier summers, and could impact some key pollinators, like bumblebees, that are active throughout the summer.
