EPA to Fund Communities Tackling Climate Change

The EPA is requesting proposals from local governments for reducing greenhouse gas emissions while achieving additional community benefits. Under the Climate Showcase Communities Grant Program, they will provide a total of $10 million in grants distributed to around 30 entities; approximately $500,000 will be awarded to tribal governments. This is the second year of the program.
