Algae farms could thrive on CCS

Chicago, 3 April: Concerns about the potential for leakage of pressurised carbon dioxide from proposed carbon capture and storage facilities could be addressed by using the gas to supply algae farms, said Jeff Mettais, vice-president of international business development at algae technology company A2BE Carbon Capture.
