NRL charges Marine Corps expeditionary power requirements

(Naval Research Laboratory) The need to supply sufficient electricity to Marines on the battlefield is the overarching objective of the USMC Expeditionary Energy Strategy. Researchers at NRL's Electronic Science and Technology Division are developing flexible, lightweight and efficient photovoltaic cells that will reduce energy supply needs and increase the effectiveness of forward deployed forces.
