U of M Innovative Engineers receives international honor for wind energy work in Nicaragua

(University of Minnesota) The University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering student organization Innovative Engineers has received international recognition for their wind energy project in Nicaragua. The group's work is included in Sustainia100, a guide to 100 of the top global solutions in sustainability, unveiled last night at the Rio+20 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
