National Conversation on Climate Action

Tucson will host a “Spotlight Conversation on Climate Action” as part of an elite group of 10 communities that were selected by ICLEI-Local Governments for Sustainability to be highlighted nationally. This event is part of the National Conversation on Climate Action series of local-level community engagement events taking place nationwide on Earth Day.

Cap and Trade Regulation of Greenhouse Gases: Theory and Practice

This workshop will introduce participants to the economics of cap and trade systems for limiting emissions of pollutants. The initial part of the workshop is a market experiment/simulation in which those attending participate as decision makers in a cap and trade system.
